IRS Announces Sixth Annual International Tax Institute
WASHINGTON - The Sixth Annual Institute on Current Issues in
International Taxation, cosponsored by the Internal Revenue Service
and the George Washington University, will be held December 16-17 at
the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Designed for professionals dealing with international tax law,
the Institute will feature Margaret Milner Richardson, Commissioner
of Internal Revenue, and Leslie B. Samuels, Treasury Assistant
Secretary for Tax Policy, as luncheon speakers.
First day topics will include issues affecting U.S.
multinationals and doing business in developing countries. Managing
an international examination, transfer pricing, the permanent
establishment concept, and other issues affecting foreign investment
in the U.S. are topics slated for the second day.
