IRS & Telmundo Host Program for Spanish-Language Taxpayers
WASHINGTON - To improve service to Spanish-language taxpayers, the Internal Revenue Service announced today that it has joined with the nationwide Spanish-language Telemundo Network to host a special, one-hour tax program on March 8.
The program, called Los Impuestos y Usted (Taxes and You) will focus on practical tips for claiming tax credits, preparing the federal income tax return, free electronic filing and other helpful topics.

In addition to the special program, the IRS has other ways to assist Spanish-language taxpayers:
- TeleTax is a toll-free automated service that provides helpful tax topics and refund information in English and Spanish. TeleTax is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at 1-800-829-4477.
- Free IRS publications in Spanish are available by calling toll free 1-800-TAX-FORM (1-800-829-3676) or through the IRS Web site, IRS.gov, under Forms and Publications.
- The toll-free IRS Tax Help Line for Individuals, at 1-800-829-1040, has Spanish-speaking tax assistors.
