IRS Holds Nationwide
Tax Forums in Six Cities

WASHINGTON - The Internal Revenue Service will host six Nationwide Tax Forums for the tax professional community. This year’s forums begin in July. The three-day programs include a variety of seminars designed to provide the tax professional community with the latest and most complete information on IRS programs, practices and policies and the most recent Electronic Tax Administration (ETA) initiatives.

This year’s dates and locations are:

  1. July 10-12 Philadelphia, PA
  2. July 24-26 Ft. Lauderdale, FL
  3. August 14-16 Dallas, TX
  4. August 21-23 Atlanta, GA
  5. September 4-6 Cleveland, OH
  6. September 18-20 Las Vegas, NV

Licensed tax professionals can earn up to 18 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits at each forum site. In addition, the IRS Tax Forum Exhibit Hall gives practitioners an opportunity to interact with IRS executives and other tax professionals as well as check out the latest tax products and services offered by top firms in the industry.

The Tax Forum registration fee is $55 for the first member of a business or organization, $40 for the second member and $30 for each subsequent member and spouses. Admission is free for children age 18 and under.
