IRS Releases Statistics of Income -- 1992, Corporation Income Tax Returns
WASHINGTON - The Internal Revenue Service today announced the
availability of its latest report on corporation income tax
statistics.
IRS Publication 16, Statistics of Income -- 1992, Corporation
Income Tax Returns, contains detailed information on assets,
liabilities, receipts, deductions, net income, income tax liability,

The 1992 report, which covers accounting periods that ended from

summarizes the overall corporate activity, section 2 discusses
changes in law and regulations, section 3 describes the sample and
data limitations, section 4 presents the basic tables, section 5
contains the explanation of terms used in the report, and section 6
consists of facsimiles of the return forms and their instructions.
Increases from the prior year are reported for the number of
returns filed, total assets, total receipts, net income (less
deficit), income subject to tax, total income tax, and total income
tax after credits.
The 301-page report is available for $20 from the Superintendent
